I googled Guanajuato and came upon your blog. My whole family lives in the States, and I, a college student, decided to move to Guanajuato to study graphic design. Wel,, it's been a year and a half since then. I couldn't be happier. Thank you for exposing the rather unique experience of "fixing" a house in mexico. Hopefully more gringos will follow your example.
